Our dear, sweet regular Ken Cramer passed away peacefully this week at the age of 97. Ken had been a regular at Bill’s LONG before any of us were born, and even before our luncheonette was “Bill’s”.
Living in this area all his life, Ken worked in the Scrub Oaks Mine from 1938-1950, and was the superintendent of the mine from 1954-2000. A Navy veteran as well serving in World War II & the Korean War, Ken loved to take long walks and always loved to share his many, many stories with us everyday (sometimes twice a day!).
We will miss you so much Ken; it simply won’t be the same without you. We hope you are happily reunited with your family and say hello to Bill for us—We will save you a seat at the counter always. ❤️💔#kennyeggs
